Manastir sv.Joakim Osogovski - Monastry of St. Joakim Osogovski

In this region at the end of XI and the begining of XII has lived St. Joakim Osogovski. At 3 km north east of the town of Kriva Palanka, at the Osogovski Mountains is lying the Monastry of St. Joakim Osogovski.

It is also well known by the name of Sarandapor. The monsatry is open for religious people, visitors, and travelers.

At the day of the patron, the 16 of August, the people are coming in the monastry to bow down to this Saint.

There are also cultural manifestations like The multicultural paint colony( Меѓународна ликовна колонија „Свети Јоаким Осоговски”), Summer school for architecture and The colony of the xylographers assotiation.
